Facebook's parent company Meta is the most recent business

to issue a public alert over the spread of ChatGPT scams.

According to Reuters(opens in new tab), the business has discovered more than 1,000 malicious links that falsely identify themselves

 into Firefox to assist users in "cutting through false reviews [so they can] shop with the assurance 

 that what they're buying is high-quality and authentic," according to a Mozilla statement. 

If you didn't already know, the extension combines "artificial intelligence (AI)

 machine learning (ML)... internet reviews in order to find [common] patterns.
